Are you a passionate English teacher with a talent for strong behaviour management and a desire to make a real difference in an Alternative Provision setting? We are seeking a dedicated and resilient Lead English Teacher to join our secondary alternative provision school in the Blackburn with Darwen area.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead the English department, delivering high-quality lessons to students who may face barriers to learning.
2. Plan, deliver, and assess engaging English lessons that cater to the needs of all students.
3. Implement effective behaviour management strategies, creating a positive and supportive learning environment.
4. Work collaboratively with staff to support students’ academic, social, and emotional development.
