* Coordinate and schedule shipments to ensure timely deliveries.
* Plan and schedule team members to ensure proper staffing across all shifts, ensuring alignment with volumes and service expectations.
* Utilize TMW and other systems and applications.
* Maintain clear communication through phone systems while demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
* Schedule shipping requirements per booking instructions, ensuring all information is relayed accurately.
* Collaborate with the Operations team as needed to ensure inbound and outbound freight is coordinated for on-time delivery.
* Monitor shipment status and resolve any issues that may arise during transit.
* Perform data entry tasks accurately to maintain up-to-date records.
* Review driver performance and participate in driver reviews as needed.
* Ensure compliance with legislation, safety regulations and company policies.
* Liaise as needed with internal teams for communication with customers.
* Meet performance deadlines and adhere to all client shipping requirements.
* Be flexible and work extended hours as required.
* Work in compliance with the provisions of Occupational Health and Safety.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements:
* 2-5 years’ experience in dispatching.
* 2-5 years’ experience in transportation/logistics industry.
* Advanced knowledge of TMW.
* Proficient in data entry with a high level of accuracy.
* Awareness of Highway Traffic Act including hours of service, TDG, weight restrictions, etc.
