An exciting opportunity is available to join West Kent Primary Care (WKPC) as an Associate Director of Operations and Strategy.
We are seeking an experienced and visionary individual to lead our clinical and operational teams ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient care. We are looking for an enthusiastic, driven individual who is a team player, self-motivated with strong leadership skills and professional approach that demonstrates our values.
The post holder will lead, direct, and manage the development of strategic and operational policy within WKPC, whilst remaining responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations delivered by clinical service managers. In collaboration with the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Board the post holder will lead the development of new services whilst considering future opportunities to expand the business.

Main duties of the job
WKPC has entered into a formal alliance agreement with Kent Community Health Foundation Trust (KCHFT) to deliver collaborative services across Community and Primary Care. This is an exciting time for the post holder to join WKPC during a period of strategic growth and expansion. They will have opportunity to lead on major collaborative activities across the west Kent footprint and work in partnership with providers across the Health Care Partnership (HCP).
This post will report into the CEO and work alongside the Director of Finance and Director of Nursing & Quality as part of the Senior Management Team. They will also work closely with clinical service, governance, workforce and digital teams to communicate and embed strategic direction and organisational change.

Person Specification
Qualifications Essential
* Degree or Qualification in Health/Management or related subject
* Experience/Qualification relevant to service delivery
* Advanced programme and project management skills including Prince 2 or equivalent
* Evidence of continuing professional development.
Desirable
* Post graduate qualification at diploma or masters level
* Current professional registration
* Leadership qualification or extensive experience in leadership roles
Experience Essential
* Previous experience at working at a senior operational manager level or other senior level
* Experience of collating and interpreting highly complex performance data for presentation to Boards.
* Demonstrable experience of working with committees.
* Knowledge and experience of managing information and financial analysis
* Proven experience of leading and delivering complex change and strategy development programmes in a politically sensitive and complex environment
* Significant experience of proven implementation of transformational change
* Demonstrable experience of working across traditional boundaries
