Job Title: Creative Arts Therapist Banding : Band 5/6/7 Location: Chelmsford Working Hours: Monday to Friday Start Date: ASAP Duration: Full Time Salary : £42,000 - £58,000 Suitable for either an Arts, Music, or Play Therapist. As a Creative Arts Therapist, you will be working at a pediatric school in Chelmsford with children aged 5-16 years to support their social, emotional, behavioral, and educational development. Your main responsibilities as a Creative Arts Therapist: In this role, you will offer therapeutic interventions that aid children’s emotional well-being and learning. You will work collaboratively with colleagues (teaching, support, and therapeutic) to maximize progress for children. Your responsibilities will include delivering 1:1, group, and whole class sessions, building positive working relationships with children’s families through consistent phone and/or email contact as required, and creating and delivering support sessions and targeted trainings for parent group and family workshop days. What we are looking for in a Creative Arts Therapist: Either Arts Therapist, Music Therapist, or Play Therapist At least current degree level, fully qualified therapist in own specialized field & associated registration with appropriate body Understanding of mental health in children, ACEs, trauma, and the impact of abuse and mental health difficulties on child development, attachment, and behavior Why work with Pulse?
