We are looking for a Sunday Assistant to join the Marie Curie team at our Tiverton shop!
Title: Sunday Retail Assistant
Salary: £3271.84 per annum
Hours/Contract: 5.5 hours per week, Permanent, Part time
Based: Tiverton Marie Curie

Key Responsibilities:
* Maximizing sales by maintaining high standards of display and layout in the shop and shop windows.
* Ensuring stock density is maintained and regular rotation of stock is carried out.
* Obtaining maximum realistic prices on donated items, in accordance with charity guidelines.
* Maximizing Gift Aid when dealing with customers and donors.
* Providing excellent customer service at all times.
* Maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the shop, including the sales floor, stock processing area, offices, and communal areas.

* Sales & Stock Generation: Creativity in attracting new customers/supporters every day.
* Management of Staff and Volunteers: Leading in recruiting, training, managing, and supporting volunteers.
* Administration: Ensuring all financial reporting, cash handling, daily banking, and security procedures are followed.
* Promotion: Ensuring the overall harmony of the shop team and keeping everyone informed of relevant information.

In this role, you will have sole responsibility for the running of the store, which will involve lone working. Due to this, we are unable to recruit anyone for this role who is under the age of 18.
