The Role

b4b marketing is an award-winning digital marketing agency based in Poole, Dorset. We specialise in a range of services, including media production, search engine optimisation (SEO), pay-per-click (PPC) advertising, social media management, website design, software development and branding. Our team of over sixty digital experts is dedicated to helping businesses grow and exceed their potential by offering bespoke services tailored to each client’s unique needs.
Role Overview:
We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Social Media Executive to join our in-house social media team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and enhancing both our clients’ organic and paid campaign social media presence across various platforms. This role requires a passion for social media, excellent content creation skills, and the ability to engage a following, grow online communities and scale commercial brands online.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop, implement, and manage organic social media strategies across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, and TikTok.
* Develop, implement and manage paid performance campaigns for e-commerce brands, including optimisation and management of social shop features and YouTube advertising.
* Create engaging and shareable content, including written posts, graphics, videos, and interactive media.
* Manage day-to-day social media activity, including posting, scheduling, and community engagement.
* Monitor, track, and report on key social media metrics and provide insights for continuous improvement.
* Conduct audience research to identify content opportunities and optimise engagement.
* Collaborate with internal teams, including design, video, and paid media specialists, to develop high-quality social content.
* Build, manage and maintain relationships with influencers, brand ambassadors, and other online communities.
* Stay up to date with the latest social media trends, platform updates, and industry best practices.
* Assist in developing social media organic and paid campaign ideas, competitions, and brand partnerships.
* Support in crisis management and reputation monitoring by responding appropriately to online comments and feedback.
Key Requirements:
* At least 1-2 years of experience in managing organic and paid social media accounts, either in-house or preferably agency-side.
* Experience using Meta Ads Manager and executing performance paid campaigns using multiple ad sets.
* Strong writing skills with the ability to create compelling captions, blog posts, and social content.
* Excellent English language skills and attention to detail.
* Experience with social media management tools (e.g., Sked Social or Hootsuite) and Meta Business Suite.
* Knowledge of analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, and LinkedIn Analytics.
* A good understanding of SEO principles and how they relate to social media – particularly in relation to YouTube.
* Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut Pro or other content creation tools is a strong plus.
* A keen eye for design, detail and aesthetics in social media content.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting strict deadlines.
* A proactive approach, creativity, and a passion for digital marketing.
