Job Description:
* Develop and deliver engaging and inclusive lessons to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
* Assess individual learning needs and create tailored learning plans to support students in achieving their educational goals
* Collaborate with fellow teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure a holistic approach to student development
* Maintain accurate records of student progress and effectively communicate with stakeholders
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience working with students with SEN
* Familiarity with SEN teaching strategies and best practices
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years experience teaching students with SEN
Key Skills and Knowledge:
* Comprehensive understanding of different learning styles and the ability to adapt teaching methods accordingly
* Effective classroom management skills
* Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment
* Proficient in utilising technology to enhance learning
Preferred Qualifications:
* Postgraduate qualification in Special Education Needs
* Experience working with a diverse range of disabilities
Working Conditions:
* Work in a school setting with students with varying levels of SEN
* Full-time hours with occasional after-school meetings or events
