Branches: Their two practices are based across Sunderland, a short distance from the stunning beaches of the North East coastline and their location provides close proximity to transport links including metro stations, A19, A1, the airport, and main train stations.
Practice: Part of a group
Team: Led by the Practice Owners, their friendly and experienced team comprises 6 vets, 10 RVNs, 6 SVNs, and a team of experienced receptionists based across both their practices.
Services/Facilities: As a practice, they have a varied caseload and clinical freedom where gold standard practice is actively encouraged. The veterinary team includes Certificate holders in Medicine and Ophthalmology, one vet studying towards their Certificate in Dermatology, as well as a team working closely with Certificate holders in Surgery, Ultrasonography, and Cardiology. They are keen for these skills to be within their team, allowing them to expand the services they can offer clients. They are also proud holders of the ISFM and RAW silver awards, the Dog-Friendly Practice award, and are proud winners of the Group Graduate Practice of the Year award.
Role: Would you like the opportunity to develop your clinical interest in a practice that can provide the flexibility and support to do so?
Hours:
* This role offers real flexibility, offering shorter hours to fit around other commitments such as 9 am – 3 pm, 3 days a week; they CAN offer this for you.
* Ideally, this will be a surgically biased role where you can spend up to 3 days in surgery!
* Only 1:4 Saturdays, which may be sole charge.
* No OOH and no Sundays or Bank Holidays.
About you:
* Ideally, they are looking for someone confident in surgery and hopefully, this would be your bias; however, they are happy for someone to cover both consults and surgery.
* They offer flexibility both in terms of clinical preference and working hours.
Support: They hold fortnightly vet meetings giving colleagues the opportunity to discuss cases, review protocols, and attend arranged lunch and learn CPD sessions. Regular admin time slots are allocated into the diary, as well as on-the-day appointments to help ease the day-to-day working of the practice.
