This 2 form entry school is looking for a Teaching Assistant to join their support team, working throughout the KS1 team, supporting children with core subject interventions and children with Special Educational Needs. This Primary School has built a great reputation within the community and works closely with parents and students to support education and home life. You will be joining a great team of staff who are very supportive to each other, and will help you with advice and creative ideas to bring the best learning environment to their pupils. The Role Starting in the New Academic Year, you will be joining the KS1 team working closely with the Class Teachers to support small group interventions and 1 to 1 work. This role is a full-time position, working 8:30 to 3:30, Monday to Friday, Term Time Only. You must have great knowledge of Core subjects (Maths, English and Phonics) to use your initiative on how to develop activities and assess the children’s understanding. You will be expected to: Have previous experience of working with children. Have high expectations of Positive Behaviour Management. Communicate clearly with the Class Teacher to show children’s learning and development. Create a positive learning environment. Build strong relationships with all KS1 children and their teachers.
