Director of Management Information Systems (MIS) is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the MIS function, including data management, reporting, and registry services. The Director will take the lead in shaping the strategy for these services, driving continuous improvement and ensuring they support the College’s growth. This includes delivering timely, accurate information to key decision-makers, maximizing potential opportunities, and maintaining high standards of data quality and compliance. Key priorities: Provide strategic leadership of the College’s MIS function, ensuring high-quality, accessible, and user-friendly information systems and processes. Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for information and data services that aligns with the College’s business goals. Collaborate with senior management and key stakeholders to identify opportunities for leveraging information and data to support strategic decision-making and improve operational efficiency. Develop, implement, and monitor a reporting strategy to ensure that the College’s information needs for both internal and external stakeholders are met. Develop and enforce data governance policies and procedures to ensure data accuracy, integrity, security, and compliance with regulations. Maintain an up-to-date expert-level knowledge of current funding policy and procedures and anticipate and respond to changes in the external funding environment. You will have the ability to successfully manage priorities and work calmly and proactively under pressure, whilst maintaining a strong customer focus. Strong data analysis skills, the ability to adapt quickly, and a keen eye for accuracy are also essential for this role.
