Skills and Experience for the role of Deputy Manager:
1. RGN / RMN with valid NMC PIN
2. Experience in a Deputy Manager position within a Nursing Home environment.
3. Excellent clinical skills and knowledge
4. Exceptional people management, communication skills and a passion for care
The role of Deputy Manager:
1. You will be involved in continuous assessments to plan and evaluate the needs of the residents, at the same time as coaching your team members and role modelling best practice.
2. Your day will be varied, including recruitment, ensuring safe staffing levels, making sure your Home meets legislative and regulatory requirements and undertaking ongoing care assessments.
3. You will work a mix of clinical and supernumerary shifts across the week (2 x supernumerary and 2 X nursing shifts).
