Position: Academy Coordinator
Location: 2 days hybrid working, 3 days working from our head office in Sheffield
Contract type: Monday - Friday (40 Hours)
Rate: £25,700 per annum

The Academy Coordinator will be the main contact to support the day-to-day management and maintenance of the Learning Management System (LMS). The role includes producing accurate documentation, reports, and statistics when required to support the business. A key part of the role is to book and manage training events with external and internal providers, including course invites, room bookings, and accurate event and attendance management.

About The Role
No two days will ever be the same, but your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
* Supporting the Academy with providing digital expertise to enhance opportunities to the business and colleagues to maximize the use of the LMS.
* Monitoring organisational training compliance; providing reports and data analysis, reviewing any trends across the Organisation and highlighting areas of focus for the department.
* Identifying training needs and supporting home managers in the implementation of training opportunities for all staff.
* Assisting the department to ensure there are adequate, suitable, and accurate resources available for Inductions and Leadership Programmes.
* Managing specific projects as required that will involve planning, monitoring, and making sure tasks are efficiently and effectively carried out.
* Communicating effectively with the Academy Team and trainers regarding any specific needs of training attendees.
* Liaising with recruitment colleagues regarding induction attendees.
* Booking and managing internal and external training when requested.
* Liaising with external training providers ensuring that attendees, equipment, resources, and refreshments are organised.
* Producing and sending appropriate documents and certificates for all training courses.
* Processing invoices.
* Communicating to the homes regarding non-attendance on training.
* Undertaking project work from time to time.
* Maintaining effective communication with Home Managers, Academy Team, and all other colleagues.
* Supporting the Academy to publicise and promote development and training initiatives to colleagues working within the group.

You’ll Also Have
* Experience of working within an administration-focused role.
* Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
* Knowledge of working with systems to support the department.
