HR Assistant
Location: The HR Assistant role can be based inPeterborough, Sunderland, Tunbridge Wells, Haywards Heath or Chesterfield and is hybrid (2 days per week on site)

What you’ll be doing?
1. Manage inbound HR queries through the HR automated ticketing system portal, ensuring SLAs are met and tasks are actioned efficiently and with accuracy.
2. Be responsible for all administration factors of the employee life-cycle, inclusive of but not restricted to; New Starter offer, contracts & payroll processing Refer a friend Internal moves, changes and promotions Flexible working changes inclusive of change of hours and working arrangements Maternity, Paternity & Shared Parental Leave Emplyoee Relations letters Holiday entitlement and calculations Leaver processing and exit interviews Reference requests
3. Work closely with ER and HR Business Partners, ensuring business and employee related matters are dealt with appropriately.
4. Creating and maintaining up to date HR files for all employees, in line with internal processes.
5. Managing all HR systems required for daily, weekly and monthly tasks.
6. To regularly review and make recommendations for improvements to HR processes.
7. To adhere to Company processes with regard to FCA compliance.
8. To provide ad hoc administrative support to the HR team.
9. Support with internal and external audits.
10. Ad hoc duties as and when required to support the team in meeting business requirements.
11. General queries.
What you’ll need to be successful in the role?
12. Experience: Whether you have HR administration experience or are a strong administrator eager to transition into HR, this role is designed for you. A proven track record in a busy and complex administration role is essential.
13. Initiative : Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
14. Technical Skills : Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and its a bonus if you have experience working with HR systems.
