Role Responsibilities include:
1. To ensure exceptional curriculum and training by developing and delivering high-quality apprenticeship programs that align with college standards, providing engaging theoretical and practical learning that surpasses industry expectations.
2. To conduct vocational assessments both on and off-site, implement robust quality assurance processes, and ensure compliance with awarding bodies and funding requirements.
3. To provide tailored support to apprentices and employers, provide educational guidance, and build strong industry relationships to enhance learner success and strengthen the college's reputation.
4. To collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, contribute to a high-performing team, and maintain professionalism while ensuring safeguarding and compliance standards are met.
5. To utilise IT resources to optimise learning, deliver cost-effective courses, and actively contribute to marketing, recruitment, and income generation efforts.
Skills you will need:
Essential:
1. A minimum Level 3 qualification in the vocational area (or desire to work towards).
2. A relevant teaching qualification (or desire to work towards).
3. Level 2 Maths and English or equivalent.
4. Proven experience within engineering, focusing on equipment service, maintenance, and repair.
5. Excellent knowledge in agricultural engineering or construction.
6. An understanding of health and safety standards.
7. Highly organised and adaptable.
8. Professional with the capacity to follow policies and procedures.
9. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
10. A desire to develop innovative teaching methods and the ability to motivate and inspire learners.
11. Driven with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
12. Proficiency in using MS Office applications.
Desirable:
1. Level 5 and 6 qualification in engineering.
2. Assessor award qualification and Internal Verifier's qualification.
3. Experience delivering vocational training/teaching and assessment.
4. Continuous professional development experience.
5. Knowledge of assessment and internal quality assessment processes.
