We are looking for an Enforcement Intelligence Officer to join our Safer Housing and Communities Team. You will be working under the general direction of the Safer Housing Team Manager and HMO Team Managers delivering key services to landlords, tenants, and residents in the city. You will be responsible for the day to day management of a caseload providing key investigation activities over a range of legislation gathering, recording and analysing data and information about business activities and provide assistance to the Safer Housing and HMO Team Managers and other Officers conducting enforcement investigations. We want you to have extensive, substantial knowledge and understanding of housing enforcement and the regulation of HMOs. You will lead our efforts in regulating and enforcing standards in all types of rented housing including HMOs and contribute to the successful delivery of our HMO licensing schemes and safer housing functions. You will need to demonstrate that you have ability to manage a diverse caseload and undertake regulatory activities in an efficient and effective way. You will have experience in working in a similar environment and a relevant environmental health or similar qualification.
