Job Description
* Dispense medications accurately and efficiently, adhering to legal, ethical, and safety standards.
* Provide expert advice on the safe and effective use of prescription medications and over-the-counter products.
* Conduct Medicines Use Reviews (MURs) and New Medicine Service (NMS) consultations to improve patient medication adherence and health outcomes.
* Offer clinical guidance and support to pharmacy colleagues, assistants, and technicians to ensure high-quality service.
* Maintain stock levels, manage inventory, and handle administrative duties to ensure the pharmacy runs smoothly.
* Deliver exceptional customer service, building trusting relationships with patients and the wider community.
* Engage with the local community to promote public health campaigns, wellness programs, and preventative health services.
* Stay current with pharmacy guidelines, regulations, and best practices to deliver the highest standard of care.
* Assist in the training and development of pharmacy assistants and technicians.
* Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive patient care and improve health outcomes.
Requirements
* Qualifications: MPharm degree and successful completion of the pre-registration year.
* Registration: Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
Working Conditions
This role requires Saturday shifts, offering a diverse working week while enabling you to gain valuable experience and develop your professional skills.
Salary
£30,000 - £40,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
