Due to the company continuing to win work, there is a need for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to support the Commercial Director within the infrastructure sector of the company.
You will be responsible for managing costs to make as much profit as possible for the company on the projects you will be working on and ensuring delivery of payment whilst developing client relationships. You will be managing multiple sub-contractors on different packages, as well as dealing with the main contractor daily. The projects will be on average around £5M/£6M, including groundworks, kerbing, concrete works, drainage packages, and piling. You will be working with fibre reinforced concrete, overbridges, and structures on an HS2 project.
One of the key projects is HS2, Old Oak Common, which is prestigious and has 26 months left, with expectations of winning several more phases as the project continues.

It is essential you have experience working for a tier 2 civil engineering contractor, with strong stability on your CV. You must be capable of managing a full cycle of a project from pre-construction through to completion, with limited support. Additionally, your degree must be qualified in Quantity Surveying & Commercial Management, and you will need experience with NEC contracts.
