An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and enthusiastic Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a vibrant Night Team as a Lead Nurse at a large specialist multi-disciplinary veterinary referral practice. This role offers a unique chance to work hands-on in a state-of-the-art, purpose-built clinic, while leading and overseeing the night nursing team in a supervisory capacity.
As a Lead RVN, you'll manage duties like performance reviews, absence management, recruitment, and rota administration, alongside the night nursing leadership team. You'll also enhance your nursing and leadership skills across all wards, including ICU, while handling emergency care and triage for out-of-hours cases, ensuring each night is varied and challenging.
You'll have the opportunity to work closely with a team of Nurses, Nursing Assistants, and Interns, with specialists from various departments on call, making it a dynamic and supportive environment.
