About The Opportunity:
This is a dynamic opportunity for an experienced International Marketing Manager to drive strategic brand growth across Africa, South America, and Europe. The focus is on strengthening market share in existing territories while establishing a presence in new markets, particularly in Africa and South America. This role combines strategic oversight, campaign execution, and hands-on collaboration with local partners to optimise brand presence and deliver growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
Lead the development of annual marketing and brand strategies tailored to each market’s unique requirements.
Oversee the implementation of consumer-focused campaigns and ensure they align with the brand’s guidelines and objectives.
Collaborate closely with commercial teams to maximise brand penetration and ensure profitable growth.
Market Expansion & Innovation:
Identify new market opportunities and support the sales team in scoping and entering these regions.
Manage product innovation pipelines, from concept development to successful launch, ensuring alignment with consumer insights.
Act as the key driver of marketing strategies for new product entries and market introductions.
Campaign Execution & Performance Management:
Deliver top-tier brand activations and trade communication strategies across target markets.
Monitor and analyse sales and market data to track campaign performance and adjust strategies as needed.
Produce monthly performance reports and maintain strict adherence to marketing budgets.
Collaboration & Leadership:
Build strong relationships with internal teams and external partners, adapting communication styles to respect cultural nuances.
Manage external agency relationships, including research, media, and design partners, to deliver impactful campaigns.
Lead, mentor, and develop an International Marketing Executive to achieve personal and business objectives.
Consumer Insights & Data Utilisation:
Utilise qualitative and quantitative research to inform campaign strategies.
Develop insights-driven initiatives to enhance consumer engagement and sales conversions.
Write and manage research briefs, evaluating results to shape future actions.
International Travel:
Spend approximately 25% of time travelling to target regions to immerse in consumer experiences and build relationships with partners.
Gain direct market insights to refine strategies and improve on-ground brand activations.
Your Experience and Skills:
Proven experience in international FMCG marketing, preferably in food and beverage sectors.
Expertise in brand strategy development, campaign management, and market entry initiatives.
Track record of leading innovation projects and launching new products within budget and timelines
Strong project management, organisational skills, and commercial acumen.
Competence in briefing and managing external creative agencies.
Multilingual abilities, especially French, are advantageous due to market focus.
Culturally adaptable and sensitive, with the ability to build meaningful relationships.
A proactive and passionate approach to achieving ambitious growth targets.
