What You’ll Be Doing
As an Aerodynamics Software Engineer, you will:
* Coordinate and manage the development of new aerodynamics toolsets, including planning and reporting on toolset releases.
* Collaborate with Aerodynamics Discipline Teams to harmonize requirements and ensure a unified engineering toolset.
* Drive future initiatives aligned with the Digital Engineering framework and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).
* Supervise and guide team members in toolset development while promoting best practices.
* Support aerodynamics engineers in toolset use and development, fostering innovation and consistency.
* Promote and support toolsets within the Aerodynamics Engineering Community.
What You’ll Bring
Essential Skills and Experience:
* Experience in software development, methodologies, and version control systems.
* Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink.
* A degree in a STEM subject or equivalent experience.
* Logical problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and strong interpersonal communication.
Preferred Skills:
* Knowledge of Linux systems and programming languages such as Python or Java.
