Teaching Assistant BS4 ASAP Start Full-Time Here at Long-Term Teachers we work closely with a fabulous 2 form entry Primary School in the BS4 area of Bristol. This school are currently seeking a caring Teaching Assistant who can join the team immediately. This school has a team of staff who care and offer guidance to one another, they are a thriving and supportive school at the heart of the community. As a successful candidate you must care, empathise and build relationships with its pupils and wider community. The Role This position is a full-time role starting ASAP. You will be expected to work across Key Stages, supporting each Class Teacher with guiding children through their core subject learning. We are looking for a dedicated and skilled candidate who can provide general and SEN Support for their pupils. The role is predominantly classroom based, but includes delivering interventions to small groups, based around core subjects and Phonics. Work collaboratively with class teachers to support individual children. Assess children’s development and report back to Teacher. Deliver interventions based on core subjects. Adapt activities to meet the needs of the children in your class.
