Job Description
We are looking for an Electrician to join a maintenance team on a large scale estate in the Edinburgh area.\nThe role is a permanent position, working on three shift rotas (days, backshift, nights) of a four on / four off pattern.\nAverage working week 37 hours. Up to 45k (inc shift allowance) plus salary increase after AP training.\n24 days annual leave (+ public holidays) \nLife Cover equivalent to 1.5 times annual salary \nEmployee discount shopping schemes on major brands and retailers \nBroad range of learning opportunities, such as professional qualifications, collective/individual training, and personalized support programmes\nPlus other employee benefits\n\nMaintenance Shift Electrician Duties:\nProvide delivery of Planned & Reactive maintenance activity of HV, LV, and Electrical Systems & Equipment, in accordance with the Schedule of Programmed Maintenance.\nEnsure all Planned Maintenance works are completed within the target start and target completion timeframes.\nComplete all Reactive Works in line with contractual SLA’s.\nEnsure all Corrective & Remedial works are completed and duly recorded.\nReport all Corrective & Remedial works that need to be undertaken by other skillsets, or external contractors.\nEnsure that the integrity of the Critical systems is always achieved minimising downtime of assets.\nCorrectly & Accurately utilise PDA to accurately record information, data and details relating to all works undertaken and accounting for working day.\nComplete all maintenance documentation (electronic and hard copy) ensuring full and accurate completion.\nDeliver additional works requests to agreed scope and timeframes as directed by line management.\nSupport internal and external audits and assurance to a high standard, completing, and delivering on actions as required.\nAttend meetings, toolbox talks and training as required and directed by line management.\nThe above is not exhaustive and may be subject to change and other requirements as reasonably directed by Line Manager. \n\nRequirements:\nCompleted a SCQF Level 7 Electrotechnical Qualification (or equivalent) in either installation or maintenance with at least 3 years post qualifying experience.\nQualified to BS7671 18th Edition Amendment 2.\nEffective communication skills, and flexible attitude to work situations.\nFull Clean Driving License\nExcellent administrative and Software applications experience (Microsoft Word, Excel, Email, PDA usage, etc…)\nPersonable front facing individual with an ability to create good working relationships with clients and external stakeholders. \nAble to clear a Disclosure Scotland\nNot essential: Experience/Qualifications within a technical capacity relating to SHTM 06-01, 02, 03, with qualification at LV & HV Appointed/Authorised Person and/or Competent Person. \n\nIf you are interested then please click the APPLY button now \nPRS are a leading specialist recruitment and search & selection consultancy within the Building Services, FM and Support Sectors. \nPlease note if you have not heard from us within 5 days, then your application has not been successful.
