Hays Belfast are recruiting a Belfast-basedpany who are looking to recruit a Site Manager for ongoing works within the NIHE (Northern Ireland Housing Executive) Framework. With sites across County Down (Newry / Downpatrick) and the North West (Coleraine / Limavady), this client can be flexible on location to sites that are closest to you. Your newpany specialises in Construction and Fit out ofmercial, Residential, Education, and Health schemes to name a few. As the newest member of the NIHE Residential team, you’ll find apany willing to invest in your career development as you travel to jobs throughout the region and aim to develop social housing across Northern Ireland.
Thispany holds long-standing frameworks within the NIHE and has various sites across the country with upgrade and refurbishment works located in County Down and Antrim planned.
Your new role
As Site Manager, you will be based in the Country Down Area, covering sites across the county from Newry to Downpatrick. Sites will consist of refurbishments to NIHE residential schemes where you will be tasked with overseeing the delivery of works including upgrades and refurbs to parts of houses such as kitchens and bathrooms or even external works.It would be preferable for you toe from a trades background and have experience of overseeing multiple trades on site inclusive of joiners, plasterers, and plumbers, to ensure a quality service is delivered in a timely manner. You will manage subcontractors on site, ensure materials are delivered and oversee the pricing up and running of the daily operations on site. Previous experience in a similar role will be advantageous as well as a strongmunicator who can liaise with the teams and all external stakeholders.
What you'll need to succeed
To fulfil the needs of this role, you will ideally possess a high level ofmunication, organisation, and the ability to uphold a high standard of workmanship throughout each home. Ideally, you will have a joinery and or other trade background as well as some experience in refurb works, preferably within the residential sector. It is required that you have previous suitable experience as a Site Manager / Foreman / Supervisor and the right to work in the UK full-time. Furthermore, you must hold a valid CSR Site Supervisor Card, CSCS, or SMSTS training certificate.
