Job Description
We are working with a Belfast Law firm who are seeking a Legal Secretary to join their Litigation team.
Responsibilities:
* Administrative functions such as managing diaries, scheduling appointments, and coordinating meetings.
* First point of contact/representative for clients.
* Answer phone calls, take messages, and handle general inquiries in a professional manner.
* Assist in managing incoming and outgoing correspondence.
* Assist in billing and invoicing processes.
* Prepare, review, and format pleadings, bundles for court etc.
* Draft correspondence, memos, and other legal documents as instructed by solicitors.
* Maintain organised electronic and paper filing systems.
* Prepare hard copy and digital document bundles as and when required.
Essential criteria:
* Experience working as a Legal Secretary desirable.
* Proficient in MS Suite.
* Excellent written and verbal communication.
* Ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks, meet deadlines and work efficiently under pressure.
* Strong client relationship management and interpersonal skills.
* Commitment to professional ethics and maintaining client confidentiality.
