Job Description
The Job Mission
As a Project Manager for the Turbine Programme, you will define work scopes, develop strategies, and manage contracts to ensure project delivery. Your key responsibilities will include:
1. Define the work scope and interfaces within the programme
2. Develop and implement strategies and plans aligned with the programme execution plan (PEP)
3. Maintain effective communications with stakeholders and execute project strategies
4. Drive contract delivery to meet safety, time, budget, and technical requirements
5. Monitor and manage programme progress against milestones, deadlines, and budget
6. Anticipate, manage, and resolve issues, and escalate to the Senior Project Manager when necessary
7. Undertake contract administration activities with Commercial Manager support
8. Oversee Tier 1’s supply chain to maintain Nuclear Safety
9. Manage non-conformances during manufacturing to ensure quality and schedule
10. Handle contract changes, scope definition, and business justification
11. Maintain level 3 schedules consistent with overall Project schedules
12. Ensure Qualification for Nuclear Safety activities are completed
13. Liaise with HPC Site team for pre-shipping activities
14. Apply Earned Value Management (EVM) principles
15. Promote Continuous Improvement and knowledge-capture
16. Review Contractor schedules and ensure contractual requirements are fulfilled
17. Interface with other programmes to adopt best practices
18. Maintain effective relationships with project team members

Required Skills and Qualifications
1. Track record in delivering projects in complex environments
2. Strong skills in project management, financial management, change management, and facilitation
3. Experience in managing commercial claims and negotiations
4. Excellent presentation, influencing, and facilitation skills
5. Strong communication and organisational skills
6. Proven experience managing major projects from concept to handover in regulated environments
7. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in mechanical engineering
8. Experience with centrifugal pumps, motors, and variable speed gearboxes
9. Working knowledge of French is an advantage
Desired Skills
1. Experience in the Nuclear Energy sector or similar regulated environment
2. Ability to engage multi-level stakeholders including contractors, consultants, and advisors
3. Strong numerical and analytical skills
