We are seeking a dynamic and resourceful Social Worker for the Children in Care Court Team within Children in Care, located in Northampton. What you will do:
1. Manage and support a caseload of children in care involved with court proceedings.
2. Prepare and present reports for court, ensuring they are comprehensive and well-documented.
3. Engage with children and young people to understand their experiences and needs, ensuring they are represented accurately in court.
4. Collaborate and liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including legal professionals and foster care agencies.
5. Support children in transitioning to suitable and stable placements.
6. Monitor and review cases regularly to ensure the continued safety and well-being of children in care.
7. Advocate for the best interests of the children in all legal and care settings.
