Initial Washrooms - Warehouse Operative

This role comes with a basic salary of £23,986 per annum plus benefits including monthly bonus and access to discounts and cashback rewards.
Initial Washroom Hygiene is one of the UK’s leading providers of washroom, hygiene and floorcare services. Our team of experts provide fully serviced hygiene solutions to our customers, enhancing their washrooms and ensuring compliance with key legislation.
Expected OTE: £25,000 per annum, with bonus scheme.
Permanent: Permanent, full-time role working 40 hours per week.
Location: Based at our Woodford Branch.
The Role
Your role will be to support the Service Manager while carrying out and looking to improve the service provided by the Warehouse. Based in the Woodford branch, you will be working with your colleagues to create an efficient and safe environment.
As the Warehouse Operative, your daily responsibilities will include:
* Preparing customer stocks for route delivery and assisting with the loading and unloading of vehicles.
* Working as part of the overall service support team to ensure all work is completed to the required deadlines.
* Collaborating with drivers and service management team to prepare customer stocks for delivery.
* Contributing to daily tasks including packing, sorting and segregation of mats, rolls, sanitary bins, nappy bins, and other customer stock.
* Supporting and liaising with service centre suppliers including Plant, Trunking, Drivers and Service management.
* Planning time to ensure that the service operation runs efficiently to support customer expectations.
* Organising work area to ensure that the service centre is efficient and effective.
* Focusing on supporting the business and meeting customer service expectations.

* A valid driving license would be advantageous.
* Previous experience working in a warehouse.
* Highly organised.
* Self-motivated, reliable, and proactive.
* Demonstrate clear and confident communication skills with customers and colleagues.
* Capable of working independently and possesses a positive 'can do' attitude.
