The role of the Service Families Accommodation Delivery Manager sits within the wider accommodation Delivery Housing Support Services which is responsible for providing Service Family Accommodation (SFA) and managing Single Living Accommodation (SLA) worldwide. This includes the management of around 75,000 SFA properties and 150,000 bed spaces; major SFA upgrades and other improvements in the UK; providing a comprehensive SFA repair and maintenance service in the UK; managing SFA allocation worldwide; and overseeing the move in and move out of personnel from SFA properties worldwide. You will be responsible for ensuring adherence to and conformity with agreed DIO processes and operating procedures and potentially undertake the delivery of the DIO Accommodation support to the Modernised Accommodation Offer in accordance with the Tri-Service Accommodation Regulations (TSARs). The Service Families Accommodation Delivery Manager accountable for ensuring their team enforce and conform with all agreed DIO TLB processes and operating procedures, and particularly those are detailed under the key infrastructure process for Allocation and Loss of Entitlement. Your teams will assist in the resolution and staffing of matters raised by the Industry Partner Help Desk and the provision of the SDA point of contact for our customers and families, team members, collaborators, and others for occupancy management activities. Your area is also responsible for the issuing of Notice to Vacates ensuring legal processes are initiated and followed iaw guidance from Central Legal Services. Promote strong working relationships both within the team and others across not only DIO but the MoD You will be DIO Accommodations point of contact for the Industry Partner Help Desk activities. Acting as point of contact for all Housing Support Services issues including all activities where interaction is required between the Industry Partner and the Authority. Regular attendance at the Industry Partner location for performance management and progress meetings. You will lead the Homes Support Team in order to: Manage and, if possible, resolve escalated issues requiring DIO Accommodation decision, input or guidance. Communications with stakeholders and customers regarding escalated issues until taken on by others including confirmation in writing (via email or post) of issue resolution or follow on action if not resolved. Act as the Service Manager's Representative (SMR) (iaw delegations, departmental policy, guidelines and instructions) in instructing the Industry Partner on actions relating to occupancy management Produce and maintain issue documentation as evidence in support of any policy changes.
