Excellent opportunity for an experienced IT Support Technician looking to join a busy and growing team based in Redhill, Surrey. My client is a long-established IT support company providing a wealth of IT knowledge, hands on IT support, products, solutions and high quality service to meet business needs.
The successful candidate will provide 1st and 2nd Line Support to a variety of clients in and along Surrey. Joining this company will allow you to learn new technologies in a relaxed but professional environment. You will be involved in all aspects of support and where you can make a tangible contribution to the business by delivering high levels of service to a mix of internal and external clients.
Position Overview – IT Support Technician
1. Handling client IT queries via telephone and email remotely
2. Update clients on the progress of their query when first-contact resolution is not possible
3. Manage client projects such as data and email migration
4. Resolve software issues
5. Desktop and laptop fixes
6. Troubleshooting Windows 10 & 11, Mac OS
7. Managing Active Directory and group policy
8. Travelling to client sites when required
Position Requirements – IT Support Technician
9. Full UK driving license
10. Knowledge of Microsoft 365
11. Experience with Windows Server & Windows client operating systems
12. Experience with Networks (LAN, WAN) Patch management and TCPIP protocols
13. Familiarity with hardware of servers, desktops & laptops
14. Knowledge of security systems (Anti-virus, firewalls)
15. 2-4 years experience in an IT Support Role
16. Outstanding telephone customer service experience
17. Excellent communication skills and a passion for Technology.
Position Remuneration – IT Support Technician
18. Monday to Friday 8:30am – 17:30pm
19. Salary £25,000 – £31,000 DOE
