Job Description:
This job is responsible for supporting a team or project accountable for enterprise-wide and Line of Business targeted communications. Key responsibilities include assisting in the development of communications strategies and providing editorial planning and writing expertise. Job expectations include assisting with communication initiatives, priority programs, and projects, creating engaging and impactful messaging for employees and leaders, and supporting training and employee development programs.
Create educational and marketing campaigns for 401(k), equity and health benefit plans promoting benefit awareness, participation, and the products and services available through Workplace Benefits at Bank of America. Develop campaigns in collaboration with designers and developers to educate plan participants on a variety of saving, investing and other financial wellness topics. Ensure that content is engaging, encouraging positive participant behaviors and supports the Workplace Benefits organization’s value proposition and strategy.
The Workplace Benefits Participant Experience creative services team handles a high volume of communication requests from basic edits to new concepts and campaigns. Continued growth is forecast with a strong focus on innovative approaches, digital engagement, and marketing automation. Ideal candidate needs to have a ‘go digital’ mentality, be familiar with and comfortable learning new technologies, as well as content management system experience. This will help us execute on core Workplace Benefits initiatives, enable us to meet the deliverables under tight time frames and plan for future road mapping.
Responsibilities:
1. Supports the development and execution of strategic communication plans to drive business and team objectives.
2. Translate complex benefit and financial topics into user-friendly communications.
3. Create and present concepts.
4. Understand benefit design and Merrill products and services.
5. Write and edit copy and review design to ensure that content is incorporated properly.
6. Handle projects from the outset – working with project managers and Engagement Consultants to manage project deliverables to agreed-upon timelines.
7. Be able to work within regulatory guidelines and with compliance partners.
8. Juggle numerous projects simultaneously and provide back-up support to other editor/writers.
9. Maximize the power of content management systems and the efficiency of standardized, best-practice copy.

10. Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
