IT Support Engineer - Belfast - Permanent - c£40,000 per annum REED Technology are pleased to announce a collaboration with a managed service provider in Belfast that prides itself on delivering a strong, high quality service to its client base supporting companies of all sizes. Due to recent growth they are looking to add to their team with a new 1st and 3rd line support engineers on a permanent basis Duties Efficient resolution of 3rd line technical issues remotely and responding to technical queries via phone and ticketing system. Triage of queries with effective response or escalation. Assist Tier 1 and 2 team Installation and maintenance of servers, computers, printers, firewalls and network related equipment Provision of IT support for clients either on site or remotely with opportunity for project management Personal Criteria Personable with strong communication skills and the ability to establish strong working relationships Take on new things quickly with the ability to work within a team and under own initiative The ability to explain technical issues in everyday language with strong attention to detail Prioritise effectively with good organisational skills and self-motivating. Technical Criteria Strong experience with Desktop support Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Microsoft Windows Server incl: HyperV DNS, DHCP & Active Directory Working knowledge of email infrastructure: Exchange & Office365 Working knowledge of Firewalls Networking experience.
