A leading utility contractor is looking for an Assistant Buyer to support the operational buying requirements for major power and utility projects. You will:
1. Assist with operational buying of material and service requirements for major utility projects.
2. Ensure projects receive material orders to the required quality, cost, and delivery expectations.
3. Support operational teams with day-to-day challenges on contracts.
4. Maximise the use of framework agreements to ensure savings and rebates are achieved.

Candidate Requirements
Our client is looking for Procurement Admin or Assistant Buyers with 1+ years of materials procurement experience from any contractor or subcontractor. You will have some materials procurement experience, with a track record of delivering internal stakeholder requirements for projects. You will have helped to deliver projects across infrastructure, construction, or MEP for any reputable contractor.
