Callicroft Primary Academy 5 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
Permanent (Term Time Only) Grade 13 £24,027 FTE (pro-rata £2,721) per annum
What is the role?
Callicroft Primary Academy is looking for a passionate lunchbreak supervisor to join the Team. Hours for this role are 5 hours per week to be worked Monday to Friday from 11:55am to 12:55pm, the successful candidate will work term time only, totalling 38 weeks per year.
Our lunchtime provision will help to foster a happy, health and safe environment during the lunchbreak, promoting positive attitudes to conduct and behaviour. This role will be to support a child with Diabetes over the course of the lunch hour. Full training will be provided on how to manage the child’s medical needs. Please note, the child does not have any special educational needs.
The ideal candidate should be:-
• Friendly with good communication skills
• Motivated and enthusiastic
• Able to contribute to positive play experiences
• Able to support the child in the dining hall and oversee the child on the playground
• Able to help resolve differences in a positive way
• Able to work effectively as part of a team
• Willing to attend to accidents in the playground in accordance with school procedures and guidelines
• Committed to ensuring that high standards of health, safety and security are maintained and in accordance with school policies
• No previous experience of working in a school environment is required however this role can be used as stepping stone for potential future roles within education.
