We are seeking a highly skilled Trade Compliance Specialist with a focus on Inward Processing Relief (IPR) to join our team in EMEA.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a diverse group of professionals and contribute to the development of our Trade Compliance program.
Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinate and oversee the Trade Compliance program, including IPR, for KCI Manufacturing Unlimited Company, Ireland, and other similar programs in EMEA.
* Lead and optimize the IPR program according to current customs law and regulatory requirements, including common customs audits.
* Provide local contact and communication with internal and external customers, including customs authorities.
* Functional responsibilities include, but are not limited to, Broker Management, Export Control, Customs Management, duty management & AEO certification.
* Report to the EMEA Trade Compliance Control Tower Lead and collaborate with Global Trade Compliance colleagues to execute the TC strategy and program.
* Drive improvement in compliance and business efficiency performance, define, maintain, and communicate key compliance and efficiency performance indicators (KPIs), and develop strategies to expand best practices.
Requirements:
* Minimum 2-3 years of experience working in Import-Export Compliance and specifically in filing IPR submissions to Irish Tax & Revenue or other EU-countries.
* Bachelor's degree or higher.
* Trade Compliance experience in a private, government, or military environment.
* Knowledge of regional trade regulations in various EMEA countries.
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed in this role include:
* Ability to work in large, complex, multination organizations.
* ERP Oracle experience.
* SAP GTS experience.
* Experience with complex principal business models & supply chains.
* Hands-on person experienced with processes and communication.
* Good analytical and communication skills.
* Excellent skills in Excel, Business Objects, and other software for data analysis.
* Self-organized; able to work quickly and accurately with minimum supervision.
* Able to work under strict deadlines.
