Based at Swindon, working closely with the planning department. The role is to assist the planning team in communicating with customers and drivers, assist with planning, and general day-to-day admin tasks.
Role includes:
1. Uploading and organising delivery paperwork.
2. Liaising with customers via phone and email regarding paperwork and invoices.
3. Organising and booking vehicle maintenance appointments.
4. General office duties.
5. Assisting the planning team with planning vehicles.
6. Will require a weekend On-Call every 1 in 4 weekends and periodically throughout the week once trained to do so.
7. Handling day-to-day queries from drivers and customers.
8. All training will be provided.
Skills and Experience:
1. Basic understanding of Excel and Outlook.
2. Ability to work alone and within a team.
3. Good organisational skills.
4. Confident and polite communicator.
5. Experience in transport office or administrator role desirable but not essential.
