As the primary contact for HR operations, the HR Officer ensures compliant processes across recruitment, on-boarding, employee engagement, and training. This role supports senior leadership in fostering a positive work environment and driving key HR initiatives within a mission-driven organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead recruitment processes
* Facilitate the on-boarding process
* Oversee staff exits
* Provide support and guidance to line managers on employee issues and performance management
* Drive culture initiatives
* Manage reward benefits and oversee health and safety for the team
* Support training initiatives by managing appraisals and identifying staff training needs
* Maintain and update HR policies, ensuring compliance with employment laws and best practices
* Maintain the HR system, ensuring it accurately reflects current contracts, personal details, and training records
* Produce quarterly HR KPI reports
A successful HR Officer should have:
* Experience in HR operations, with knowledge in recruitment, on-boarding, employee relations, and policy management
* Strong organisational and time-management skills with an eye for detail
* Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality
