Social Compliance Manager
The Social Compliance Manager partners closely with Buying, Corporate Responsibility, and Global Social Compliance and will be responsible for developing, driving, and executing our European Social Compliance Strategy. You will lead the European Product Assurance team in enabling the Buying teams to place TJX exclusive production and Charity merchandise with confidence and assurance. You will be future-focused, ensuring we are prepared for UK & European legislative changes and enhanced European requirements. Additionally, you will build strong cross-functional relationships with Buyers, Vendors, and our Global Social Compliance partners to develop a supply base that satisfies our Global and European Social Compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
1. Develop and lead collaborations with key stakeholders, both internal and external throughout the organization and industry, on all Social Compliance activities.
2. Develop and deliver strategy to deal with the unique challenges presented by existing and upcoming European Due Diligence legislation around collecting, analysing, and reporting on factory audits, in line with the global business reporting requirements.

1. Broad industry experience and knowledge of audit training and improvement programs.
2. Skilled communicator who drives improvements in partnership with key stakeholders and has the ability to influence internally, externally and manage multiple stakeholder relationships.
3. Logical thinker, able to debate, listen and think strategically, with the ability to prioritise activities.
4. Strong networking skills - ability to develop and maintain relationships globally across all levels and with the Buying community.
5. Understanding of the Buying process, the impact of social compliance within a retail business, and the ability to trade.
6. Ability to think paradoxically and is comfortable in holding opposing points of view.
7. Takes responsibility - has a positive attitude, is proactive, and shows initiative.
