An opportunity has arisen for an HGV Commercial Vehicle / Plant Mechanic with5 years of experiencein an award-winning Waste Management Company. This full-time, permanent role offers excellent benefits and a salary of £20 per hour. As a HGV Mechanic, you will maintain and repair Roadsweepers and Tankers to meet company and legal standards. You will be responsible for: - Conduct repair, inspections, servicing, and MOT preparation. - Prioritise tasks and manage workload efficiently. - Work both independently and within a team. What we are looking for: - Previously worked as a HGV Mechanic, HGV Technician, Pant Technician, HGV Fitter, Plant Mechanic or in a similar role. - Proven experience in the HGV or PSV sector. - Level 2 NVQ, C&G, or equivalent in a vehicle-related discipline. - Electrical diagnostics experience would be beneficial. - HGV Class 1 / 2 driving licence and IRTEC would be preferred. - Comprehensive tool kit. - Right to work in the UK.
