Job Overview:
We are seeking experienced IRATA Trained Rope Access Technician(s) to join our building maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks at heights, utilising rope access techniques in a safe and efficient manner. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety.
Job Responsibilities and Duties:
* Perform maintenance tasks at heights using IRATA rope access techniques in compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
* Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on building exteriors, including cleaning, painting, fabric repairs, glazing mastic and glazing replacements.
* Inspect, maintain, and report any deficiencies in rope access equipment and tools.
* Ensure all equipment is certified and in good working condition.
* Conduct detailed assessments of job sites to determine the safest and most efficient methods for completing maintenance tasks.
* Work closely with other maintenance staff and team members to complete tasks efficiently, communicating effectively about job progress and any issues that arise.
* Maintain accurate records of work undertaken, including tasks completed, equipment used, and safety inspections performed.
* Communicate professionally with clients and stakeholders, addressing any concerns and providing updates on progress.
Job Requirements:
* Valid IRATA certification (Level 1, 2, or 3) is necessary.
* Minimum of [2-3 years] experience in rope access and building maintenance tasks
* Completion of health and safety training, including but not limited to first aid, working at heights, and hazard assessment.
* Must be physically fit and able to perform strenuous tasks while working at heights.
* Proficient in various maintenance tasks such as painting, cleaning, masonry work, and hardware installation
* Strong verbal communication skills with an ability to work effectively in a team environment.
* Excellent analytical skills with the capability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
