Fortem Solutions are currently recruiting for a Planner to join our Stonewater Housing contract, based in our head office in Hitchin. This is a full-time permanent position on a Fortem contract.
The Customer
Our contract with Stonewater is a long term one and on this contract we cover over 7,500 houses in 4 different areas of the South-West, from Taunton and Yeovil, over to Bristol and Swindon and down to Salisbury and Bournemouth. We currently deliver Repairs & Maintenance, Voids, Capital Works and an Electrical Service program. We pride ourselves on our great customer service and our senior leadership team has years of experience within this sector which can help you develop your learning and knowledge base.
Duties & Responsibilities
1. Allocate work to trades people within given time scales
2. Resource work efficiently by being aware of tradespeople’s availability and knowing where they are at all times
3. Promote and maximize 1st time fix
4. Management of ‘Impact Diary’ or equivalent through updates of Impact and DRS appointment slots according to resource available
5. Manage, move and reschedule jobs to ensure that service levels are met, minimise travel time and to ensure available resources for delivery
6. Ensure diary commitments are reflected with WIP report analysis and make necessary changes to reflect desired results
7. Conduct daily check to ensure tradespeople are fully using their PDA’s
8. Produce client reports e.g. H+F Oracle report and service failure report
What You Will Need
The successful candidate will meet the following criteria:
Essential
1. Previous experience working in a Planning, Customer Service or Call Centre role
2. Ability to work well under pressure
3. Ability to engage people and build strong working relations with trades, colleagues, client and managers
Desirable
1. Experience in social housing repairs and maintenance
2. Trade experience for problem diagnosis
