Job Title: PC Field Service Technician
Location: Aldershot
Contract Duration: 31/03/2025 - 30/05/2025 (training) then on-site until end of the year
Pay Rate: £150 per day
Summary of Responsibilities:
1. Queue Ticket Management: Manage tickets assigned to the Hub and surrounding spokes, ensuring appropriate updates and call management to maintain service levels as per contract.
2. Hub Stock Management: Handle asset management of kit in/out, scanning items in/out of locations as per contract.
3. Disposal Management: Effectively manage disposals that go through the Hub as per contract.
4. Hardware Repairs: Triage and perform hardware repairs 'in Warranty kit' and liaise with vendors for parts and returns as per contract.
5. Locker Replenishments: Replenish lockers where appropriate as per contract.
6. Service Improvement: Highlight potential issues with service and suggest improvements to the Team Leader.
Essential Requirements:
1. Must have SC clearance or be able to gain this.
2. UK National with a UK passport.
3. Must join the OOH rota and standby.
4. Must have a full clean driving licence.
5. 2+ years of experience in a PC field service environment or PC field workshop environment.
6. Hardware skills: Diagnose, troubleshoot, support, and repair (including complex laptop break/fix repairs).
7. Accredited or willing to undergo HP & Dell desktop and laptop training.
