This is a key role focused on uplifting the skills of colleagues in the Clinical Supply Chain (CSC) across various groups, reporting to the CSC business lead for the E2E Planning & Execution Visibility program. The Clinical Supply Chain teams are highly engaged and dedicated to delivering medicines to patients in the clinical trial phase. You will support them in developing the skills needed to effectively deliver future medicines in a digital world.
You will partner with the business and other project leads in E2E to develop a structured program to enhance capabilities in both planning and digital areas, rolling it out across business areas, measuring its impact, and ensuring key aspects are embedded in business-as-usual (BAU) operations.
Responsibilities:
* Lead the project to uplift planning and digital capability across the clinical supply chain (CM&S, LCS).
* Understand the skills, capabilities, and behavioral requirements necessary to build clinical supply chain professionals who can plan and operate in a future digital landscape.
* Identify priority gaps compared to the current state.
* Lead the design and deployment of a campaign leveraging education, exposure, and experience.
* Embed the program in BAU to support ongoing organizational development as new starters join and the group evolves.
* Support leaders and managers in prioritizing training and development for themselves and their teams, maximizing the effective use of learning systems and processes, and ensuring accurate tracking of training completion against plans.
Essential Skills & Experience:
* Good understanding of both theory and processes of Change Management.
* Exposure to or knowledge of supply planning and digital capability across the supply chain.
* Experience in increasing knowledge in supply planning using digital tools.
* Effective communication style and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence others to achieve objectives.
* Comprehensive experience in all areas of the training cycle.
* Experience in developing, delivering, and coordinating functional and technical training.
Desirable:
* Awareness of or experience in utilizing a range of learning technologies and platforms.
* Interpretation of corporate requirements for communication and delivery.
* Experience working within a Manufacturing and/or Pharma environment.
* In-depth knowledge of the R&D supply chain and drug development process.
