Seeking an enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join a secondary school in Luton. Role requires a committed individual who inspires students to achieve their full potential in mathematics.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Maths lessons in line with the national curriculum for KS3 and KS4.
* Adapt teaching approaches to meet diverse student needs.
* Regularly assess and track student progress.
* Prepare students for exams, including GCSEs, by equipping them with the knowledge and skills needed for success.
* Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
* Manage classroom behavior effectively.
* Work closely with colleagues within the department and across the school.
* Engage with parents and carers to keep them informed of student progress.
* Participate in school-wide activities and initiatives.
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Experience teaching Maths at secondary level (KS3 and KS4).
* Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching Maths.
* Proven ability to differentiate teaching to meet the needs of students with varying abilities.
Desirable Qualifications and Experience:
* Experience preparing students for GCSE exams, with a track record of successful student outcomes.
* Experience using digital technology and innovative teaching methods to enhance student learning.
