As our The Head of Education and Delivery, you will lead the education and simulation teams at the BGIUK Clinical Training Academy (CTA). This role involves developing and delivering clinical education, training, and events, and supporting the CTA Director in executing the CTA strategy. Collaborating with CTA faculty and commercial and operational teams, the Head will ensure the delivery of high-quality, engaging learning experiences that support the BGIUK clinical community, drive commercial growth, and align with Bupa’s strategic goals. How you’ll help us make health happen: Network with peer groups to share best practices and build knowledge around clinical training and development. Collaborate with the Head of Operations to provide required reports, data, and accreditation standards. Offer expert support and advice on professional issues, standards, and development within the CTA. Support the Director in delivering a modern educational strategy. Ensure courses and curriculum are evaluated and evolved based on feedback and needs. Align courses with best practice standards and policies cantered on patients/customers. Innovate and continuously improve training delivery and curriculum development. Lead the clinical team in developing digital and immersive training with VR suppliers. Lead on the development and delivery of quality training in simulation labs, immersive spaces, remotely, face-to-face, and with educational partners. Develop a collaborative learning community that promotes psychological safety and best clinical practice. Deliver, evaluate, and develop high-quality, engaging training materials and courses aligned with Bupa values. Coordinate training materials and content delivery with key stakeholders. Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role: Qualification in education (PG Cert) and/or current healthcare professional registration (e.g.: GMC, NMC, GDC) Current or recent experience in a Senior/Leadership clinical role or education/training role, leading multidisciplinary teams Leadership and strategic thinking Experience in developing and delivering high-quality clinical education and curriculum development Familiarity with current best practices in multidisciplinary clinical education Awareness of good clinical governance and healthcare regulations Understanding of the current and future healthcare educational landscape Experience in evaluation and implementation of modern tech solutions within healthcare or education environments Simulation lab training, including human factors and pre- and de-briefing practices Flexibility in delivering training, including travel across the UK Benefits Our benefits are designed to make health happen for our people.
