We are looking for a Kitchen Porter to join our back-of-house team in the College cafeteria.
This role supports the Food Services Manager in the maintenance and delivery of a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene in the cafeteria.
Tasks include using the dish washing machine to clean pots, pans and utensils, clearing trollies from the Dining Hall, polishing cutlery and glassware, and setting up function rooms.
The ideal candidate will have an NVQ Level 1 in Catering and Hospitality (Kitchen Portering) and will be:
* Hard working, honest & reliable
* Methodical and thorough in all tasks undertaken
* Able to achieve a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene
* Willing to adopt a flexible approach to tasks
* Able to work well as part of a team
