CREWING OFFICER
Location: This full-time role will be based in London Gatwick and will involve an average of fourteen shifts per 28 days, with 12-hour shifts, including both day and night shifts onsite.
As a Crewing Officer, you’ll be at the center of a fast-paced 24/7 operation, ensuring crew rosters are safe, legal, and compliant with FTL regulations and industrial agreements. Reporting to the Senior Crewing Officer, you’ll manage rosters from the day of operation to three days out using the AIMS system, while keeping flights on schedule and the operation running smoothly. You will liaise with crew across the network, base teams, FRMS, rostering, training planning and delivery teams, and other ICC teams to ensure On Time Performance and safety are maintained. Your decisions will balance efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and crew well-being, ensuring flights are on time and running at their best.
What you’ll need to do the role:
To thrive as a Crewing Officer, you must have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, ideally in Airline Operations within Crewing, Operations, or a Cabin Crew role. This position demands the ability to manage high-pressure situations, providing effective solutions for last-minute crew changes while considering employee well-being. You’ll need to make informed decisions to resolve business issues in ambiguous circumstances and under tight deadlines. Strong interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills are key, along with a high degree of personal flexibility and a proactive approach to personal development. Familiarity with EASA regulations and EZY Alleviations is beneficial, as is a strong customer focus and commitment to delivering excellent service. Competency in PC use and Microsoft Office is essential.
