Employment Associate – Milton Keynes
An opportunity has arisen for an Employment Associate to join a highly regarded Employment Team, based in Milton Keynes and led by an experienced Employment Partner. This is a fantastic role within a Band 1 Chambers & Partners ranked team known for its inclusive culture, dynamic growth, and commitment to delivering outstanding client service.
This team comprises over 48 employment specialists nationwide and provides expert employment law and HR advisory services to a broad range of clients, from PLCs to SMEs. The team’s expertise spans:
* Disciplinary and grievance matters
* Unfair dismissal
* Discrimination
* TUPE, whistleblowing, redundancy, and restructures
* Strategic advisory services to senior executives and management teams

Key Responsibilities
As an Employment Associate, your role will involve:
* Providing exemplary client service across a fast paced, varied caseload.
* Managing all aspects of financial administration, including accurate time recording, billing, and WIP management.
* Actively contributing to business development efforts, helping to expand the client base.
* Maintaining UpToDate technical expertise and working to a consistently high standard.
* Taking personal accountability for development, both technically and in soft skills, in line with SRA competence standards.
* Embracing a holistic approach to client service, with an emphasis on clear communication, commercial awareness, and responsiveness to client needs.
The ideal candidate will have circa 3+ years PQE in employment law with a strong understanding of client industries. A proven record of sound financial management and case management skills. Strong IT skills, including experience with case management and time recording systems. A self starter attitude, excellent interpersonal skills, and alignment with the firm's values.
