Working under the guidance of Dr. Habib Ganjgahi, you will focus on developing computationally scalable methods for analyzing imaging data, designing simulation studies to validate models, and applying these techniques to real-world datasets, including the UK Biobank.
In this role, you will:
1. Develop a hierarchical Bayesian model that captures spatial dependencies and sparsity in fMRI data.
2. Extend threshold-free cluster enhancement methods to improve spatial specificity in voxel-wise analyses.
3. Design rigorous validation processes through simulation studies.
4. Collaborate with the research team to create reproducible analytical tools.
5. Troubleshoot technical challenges.
6. Contribute to the dissemination of results through publications and presentations.
