Are you an ambitious and driven Advanced Nurse Practitioner? We are seeking Advanced Nurse Practitioners to work in our Community Mental Health teams, based in Taunton.
You'll be supporting our consultant psychiatrists within outpatient clinics.
You'll be responsible for the rapid assessment, diagnostics, and treatment of individuals within the Community Mental Health service using an advanced level of professional accountability, autonomy, and judgement, underpinned by Masters level theory and experience. This includes highly complex decision-making across a broad range of differentiated and undifferentiated individual presentations and complex situations, synthesising information from multiple sources to make appropriate, evidence-based judgements and/or diagnoses.
Main duties of the job
* Under supervision work in partnership with individuals, families and carers, using a range of assessment methods as appropriate.
* Use knowledge, expertise and decision-making skills to inform clinical reasoning approaches when dealing with differentiated and undifferentiated individual presentations and complex situations.
* Under supervision initiate, evaluate and modify a range of interventions which may include therapies and lifestyle advice, if appropriate.
* Exercise professional judgement to assess and manage risk appropriately.
* To plan and manage complete episodes of care, collaborating with senior medical colleagues.
* To play a key operational role and maintain a pro-active approach to managing, updating and leading clinical pathways.
* To promote and implement service and policy development and redesign.

Pay: £50,952.00-£57,349.00 per year
