Electrical Supervisor (HVAP) Location: Wembley, London Working Hours: 40 hours per week – Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm (plus overtime) Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 (depending on experience) plus overtime, private healthcare and flexible benefits Summary We are expanding our team and seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor with HVAP capabilities to lead and oversee Planned, Reactive Maintenance, and Remedial Works across Electrical Services, Controls, and associated systems at a prestigious, high-profile site. Some of the key deliverables in this role will include: Perform HVAP duties, including planning and executing routine switching. Ensure adherence to engineering standards in line with Health and Safety at Work Act (HASAWA) requirements, promoting compliance throughout the team. Maintain accurate documentation and records for LV and HV systems, ensuring all Quality Assurance procedures are followed. Utilize knowledge of BMS and Control Systems for effective fault diagnosis and system setup. Lead and supervise a team, managing activities such as safety briefings, absence reporting, performance reviews, annual leave, and timesheet approvals. Plan and arrange staff training, providing on-the-job guidance and development. Conduct repairs to electrical equipment and systems to high standards, minimizing downtime. Respond promptly to reactive maintenance issues reported through the Helpdesk, ensuring the team follows suit. Support other trades as needed and ensure accurate work output capture via CAFM systems, Smartsheets, and subcontractor portals. Oversee effective supply chain management through regular interaction and planning of quoted/project works. Provide support for Event Day preparation and delivery. What We’re Looking For We are looking for a skilled Electrical Supervisor and HVAP who delivers exceptional building services with a strong focus on customer service: Authorised Person – High Voltage certification. JIB Gold Card or equivalent standard. NVQ / City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Discipline. 18th Edition of the Wiring Regulations. AM2 Certification. City & Guilds Qualification in Electrical Inspection and Testing. Extensive experience in electrical aspects of Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM). In-depth knowledge of HV and LV Electrical Systems, SCADA, Building Management Systems, Lighting Control Systems, Generators, UPS, and Emergency Lighting. 10 years’ experience in a similar field.
